The Clue!
Online version of The Clue! for PC DOS. The Clue! is a burglary simulator made in 1994 by the Austrian studio neo Software of Hirtenberg; in German speaking countries it shipped under its original name Der Clou!, and a fully Czech edition followed in 1996 as Zlodej. The player takes the part of Matt Stuvysunt, a small-time criminal of Polish descent who arrives in London in 1953 with no money and an ambition that reaches all the way to the Crown Jewels. The game splits into two halves: first you walk the city, recruit accomplices, find fences and case the target building, then you write out the whole crew's movements minute by minute on its floor plan. The planned job then plays itself out while you watch for the hole you left in it. It was released for DOS, Amiga and Amiga CD32, got the Profidiskette add-on in 1995, and had its source code opened in 2000.

Online emulated version of The Clue! was originally developed for the IBM PC and compatible computers,
with MS DOS - Microsoft Disk Operating System. It is an OS for x86-based personal computers mostly developed by Microsoft and released in 1981 as PC DOS 1.0.
MS-DOS was targeted at Intel 8086 processors running on computer hardware using floppy disks to store and access not only the operating system, but application software and user data as well.
Progressive version releases delivered support for other mass storage media in ever greater sizes and formats, along with added feature support for newer processors
and rapidly evolving computer architectures. Ultimately, it was the key product in Microsoft's development from a programming language company to a diverse software
development firm, providing the company with essential revenue and marketing resources. It was also the underlying basic operating system on which early versions of Windows ran as a GUI.
