Star Ocean

Online version of Star Ocean for SNES. Star Ocean is a Japanese action role-playing video game and the first game in the Star Ocean series. It was the first game developed by the newly formed tri-Ace company for the Super Famicom. The player navigates a character throughout the game world, exploring areas and interacting with non-player characters. In progressing through the game, the player is able to recruit up to eight additional characters to travel alongside the protagonist; some recruitments happen automatically, while others only happen depending on the previous actions and options taken by the player. The battles are not turn based, but play out in real time...

SNES Console

Online emulated version of Star Ocean was originally developed for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), an 16-bit home video game cartridge-based console produced by Nintendo, first released in Japan as the Super Famicom (SFC) in 1990. The SNES is Nintendo`s second programmable home console, following the NES. The console introduced advanced graphics and sound capabilities compared with other systems at the time. The system was designed to accommodate the ongoing development of a variety of enhancement chips integrated into game cartridges to be competitive into the next generation.

Many SNES games such as Super Mario World (1990), The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (1991), Donkey Kong Country (1994), EarthBound (1994), Super Metroid (1994) and others, are often cited to be some of the greatest video games of all time...
