Wing Commander: The Secret Missions
Online version of Wing Commander: The Secret Missions for SNES. Wing Commander: The Secret Missions is the first data disk for the space combat simulator Wing Commander, released by Origin Systems in December 1990. The Kilrathi wipe out the Terran colony of Goddard with a new secret weapon, and the carrier TCS Tiger's Claw sets off after the strike fleet deep into enemy space, without reinforcements and with no way to resupply. The expansion adds 16 new missions, this time arranged linearly with no branching, and several new ships including the Kilrathi Sivar class dreadnought. The player carries his pilot over from the base game, and the package also includes a mission selector that can launch any mission from Wing Commander. A reworked standalone version for the SNES followed in 1993.

Online emulated version of Wing Commander: The Secret Missions was originally developed for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), an 16-bit home video game cartridge-based console produced by Nintendo, first released in Japan as the Super Famicom (SFC) in 1990. The SNES is Nintendo`s second programmable home console, following the NES. The console introduced advanced graphics and sound capabilities compared with other systems at the time. The system was designed to accommodate the ongoing development of a variety of enhancement chips integrated into game cartridges to be competitive into the next generation.
Many SNES games such as Super Mario World (1990), The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (1991), Donkey Kong Country (1994), EarthBound (1994), Super Metroid (1994) and others, are often cited to be some of the greatest video games of all time...
