Eye of the Beholder
Online version of Eye of the Beholder for SNES. Eye of the Beholder is a 1991 grid-based dungeon crawler in the Dungeon Master tradition, developed by Westwood Associates and published by SSI under the AD&D licence from TSR. Built on 2nd Edition AD&D rules and set in the Forgotten Realms city of Waterdeep, the game has a four-character party descend through sewers, dwarven outposts and drow caverns to confront the eponymous beholder Xanathar. Originally released for DOS and Amiga, it was later ported to PC-98, SNES (by Capcom) and Sega CD. It launched a self-contained trilogy and set the template for SSI's later AD&D dungeon crawlers.

SNES Console
Online emulated version of Eye of the Beholder was originally developed for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), an 16-bit home video game cartridge-based console produced by Nintendo, first released in Japan as the Super Famicom (SFC) in 1990. The SNES is Nintendo`s second programmable home console, following the NES. The console introduced advanced graphics and sound capabilities compared with other systems at the time. The system was designed to accommodate the ongoing development of a variety of enhancement chips integrated into game cartridges to be competitive into the next generation.
Many SNES games such as Super Mario World (1990), The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (1991), Donkey Kong Country (1994), EarthBound (1994), Super Metroid (1994) and others, are often cited to be some of the greatest video games of all time...
